Executive Jet Management (Europe) has today announced that it has been issued with its personal Air Operating Certificate (AOC) and license. The company, with NetJets Europe’s support, has been working over recent months to develop an additional AOC specific to the management business.
Robert Baltus, Associate Sales Director at Executive Jet Management (Europe), comments: “this addition will serve to enhance the efficiency of bringing new aircraft into Executive Jet Management (Europe) in addition to ensuring that the processes are optimised for a management business. This AOC will serve to heighten our ability to deliver a bespoke and tailor-made service for our customers.”
The certificate marks a new phase in the development of Executive Jet Management (Europe), a company that has managed 453 flights since its launch last year – 233 flights in 2013 and 220 flights in 2014 year-to-date. 2013 saw the company registering 673 flight hours on managed flights and this year it has already 620 flight hours, which adds for a notable total of 1,293 flight hours-to-date.
Executive Jet Management (Europe) delivers a world-class aircraft management solution to jet owners, giving them access to NetJets Europe grade staff, facilities and management services. Jet owners have the option of using the services to have their jets managed, or combine this with allowing their jets to be used by NetJets Europe to provide additional capacity for the fractional business, generating additional revenue for customers on an on-going basis.
The programme borrows a core principle from NetJets Europe’s fractional ownership model, charging jet owners a fee proportionate to the amount of flying owners do, rather than the more common ‘flat’ management fees with all elements of surcharges more broadly in use in the market.
Executive Jet Management (Europe) builds on NetJets Europe’s existing resources and experience in the market. With the largest fleet of business jets in Europe, NetJets Europe has the capabilities, relationships and infrastructure needed to deliver a best-in-class service to jet owners under Executive Jet Management (Europe). The announcement of the aircraft management targeted AOC will serve to increases efficiency, productivity and customer service.
