A number of key players in the LTE field have been recognised and rewarded as the winners of the highly coveted LTE Awards 2013 . Alcatel-Lucent, Samsung Electronics, SK Telecom and Ericsson were among the winners which were announced at a gala dinner award ceremony last night (25 June) at the De Duif in Amsterdam.

Now in its fourth year the awards took place as part of the LTE World Summit and were judged by a panel of the industry’s most senior experts from around the world including influential figures from BSkyB; Cable & Wireless Communications, UK; EE, UK; Etisalat, UAE; Telecom Italia, Italy; Telecom Personal; Telefonica UK; Telecoms.com and Vodafone, Netherlands.
