New Philips SpeechExec for iPhone® Recorder app for a unique experience in smartphone dictation

Speech Processing Solutions, the market leader in professional dictation, today reveals its latest innovation for the wireless dictation workflow, the Philips SpeechExec for iPhone® Recorder.

“Authors can record and send dictation files from home, the office or even from the skies to anywhere in the world: conveniently, securely and quickly. Wireless dictation transmission dramatically increases personal productivity as users are now able to get ideas onto paper the moment inspiration strikes or the situation calls for it,” says Thomas Brauner, CEO Speech Processing Solutions.

Anywhere/anytime document creation

The Philips SpeechExec for iPhone® Recorder enables professionals on the road to create documents whenever and wherever needed. Authors simply record dictations and send them to their personal assistant or transcriptionist by attaching the file to an automatically generated e-mail. Following transcription, the documents are sent back to the iPhone® by e-mail. Fully integrated with the professional SpeechExec workflow, files are encrypted so that dictation transmission is secure and reliably protected from unauthorized access.

Philips SpeechExec for iPhone® Recorder also allows audio files to be downloaded via an HTTP server integrated with the app. Files may be accessed and downloaded simply by entering the relevant server URL into the web browser.

The clear and attractive user interface allows for completely intuitive dictation and file sending, while touch screen control makes operation both effective and simple. The Philips SpeechExec for iPhone® Recorder is free of charge and available in English, German, Dutch, French and Spanish from the Apple App store.
