XTENTEC unites T1A and Flex IT under a new brand to simplify circular technology across Europe

Leiden, Copenhagen and Paris, 5 October 2026 - Flex IT and T1A today introduce XTENTEC, the shared name under which the two companies will unite around a common ambition: extending the life of technology. 

XTENTEC will replace the Flex IT and T1A brands as the businesses progressively integrate into one company. During this transition, both existing brands will remain visible and active in the market.

The combination brings together T1A’s expertise in corporate IT collection, secure data erasure and certified refurbishment with Flex IT’s refurbishment capabilities and European distribution network of approximately 13,000 resellers.

The group with approximately €150 million in revenue, is backed by the Eurazeo Planetary Boundaries Fund (EPBF) as majority shareholder and Dansk Vækstkapital as a minority investor.

A more connected service for customers

The phased brand transition will give customers time to become familiar with XTENTEC while continuing to recognise the businesses and teams they already know. As integration progresses, customers will be using one partner to retire equipment securely and source certified refurbished technology.

A stronger foundation for long term growth

The strategy builds on the Eurazeo Planetary Boundaries Fund’s (EPBF) ambition to scale circular economy solutions. It also supports the group’s previously announced intention to pursue further acquisitions to expand its geographical presence and service portfolio.  

Bringing the businesses together is intended to improve operational efficiency and create a stronger foundation for investment and further European growth.

XTENTEC’s new identity expresses the purpose behind that strategy: extending the life of technology through secure collection, refurbishment and reuse, helping reduce electronic waste and the loss of valuable materials.
