U.S. based energy company orders Jenbacher J624 containerized engines to support deployment of fast-track, behind-the-meter power solutions for large-scale data centers 450 MW firm order booked in Q3 2026

INNIO N.V. (Nasdaq: INIO) today announced it has secured an order from a U.S. energy company for 450 megawatts (MW) of power infrastructure. INNIO's Jenbacher J624 containerized gas engines will support the deployment of prime power solutions for large-scale data center projects in North America. The order reflects continued demand for the company's high-efficiency gas engine technology as data center developers seek off-grid alternatives to constrained grid infrastructure. This is the first order by the customer of this scale.

INNIO secures 450 MW order to power next-generation data centers

The engines are expected to be delivered by 2028. The firm order was booked in INNIO’s current third quarter of 2026.In line with customary confidentiality practices in the data center industry, the energy company’s name is not being disclosed at this time.

"AI is driving unprecedented demand for power, while grid constraints have become a critical bottleneck for data center development. This order demonstrates that INNIO’s technology is part of the solution, enabling customers to deploy reliable, efficient, and sustainable power quickly and independently of grid limitations," said Olaf Berlien, President & CEO of INNIO.

The accelerating adoption of AI and high-performance computing is driving unprecedented demand for electricity and creating significant challenges for grid infrastructure across key data center markets. As a result, data center developers are seeking on-site and behind-the-meter power solutions that can be delivered independently of the growing grid constraints in North America.

INNIO’s Jenbacher J624 has set the industry standard for high-speed engines in its power class and is well-positioned to meet the requirements of data center operators. It offers key advantages over alternative technologies: superior power density, ease of transport, containerization for fast deployment, more stable load-following, and lower redundancy requirements – enabling reliable performance under very demanding AI data center load profiles.

Elliptic Launches Its Decode Agent to Answer On-Chain Risk Questions and Shows Its Work17.9.2026 15:00:00 CEST | Press release

Hours of tracing, answered in seconds, with the evidence attached Elliptic, the global leader in on-chain risk, today launched Decode, an AI agent built on Elliptic’s intelligence platform. The Decode agent answers natural-language questions about cryptoasset addresses and their exposure in seconds, and returns the evidence behind every answer. Compliance and investigations teams need answers to questions nobody planned for. Getting them out of the data is now a specialist skill, so the questions wait for someone who has it, or go unasked. Meanwhile illicit actors move at machine speed, and agents are starting to sit on both sides of a payment. General-purpose AI assistants can produce an answer. They cannot show where it came from. A fluent response with nothing behind it cannot be put in front of a second-line reviewer, an auditor, or a regulator. “The market is full of AI that asks to be trusted. That is not good enough when someone asks how you reached a decision,” said Jackson Hul
