Nordic Climate Group expands Dutch offering with Bakker Vakkeuken

Bakker Vakkeuken, a Berlikum-based specialist serving professional customers in sectors including hospitality, maritime and healthcare, has become part of Nordic Climate Group. Founded in 1988, the company combines professional kitchen expertise with cooling installations, technical service and maintenance for customers where reliability is critical to daily operations.

The company adds a new dimension to Nordic Climate Group’s Dutch platform, with a one-stop offering that spans design, supply, installation, service and maintenance. With a strong position in Friesland and the wider northern Netherlands, Bakker Vakkeuken broadens the Group’s reach in professional environments where technical know-how, service and long-term customer relationships are central.

“Bakker Vakkeuken is a well-established company with skilled people, strong customer relationships and a clear position in an attractive segment. The company adds valuable expertise to our Dutch platform and creates good opportunities for continued local growth and collaboration across our companies in the Netherlands,” says Erik Snijders, CEO of Nordic Climate Group Netherlands.

The owners, Peter Oostra, Willem Vellinga and Jurriaan Hoekstra, will continue to lead the company, which will operate under its existing name and local brand as part of Nordic Climate Group.

“We see this as a strong next step for Bakker Vakkeuken. We have built the company around skilled people, close customer relationships and practical technical knowledge. Joining Nordic Climate Group gives us the opportunity to continue developing locally, while becoming part of a wider network of specialist companies that understands our market and our way of working,” say Peter Oostra, Willem Vellinga and Jurriaan Hoekstra, Directors of Bakker Vakkeuken.
