Key Facts Smart Collateral helps financial institutions manage the complete margin and collateral lifecycle, providing the control, visibility and governance required to operate at scale. Teams can now interact with that information in plain language, getting answers on agreements, eligibility, positions, margin calls and interest calculations without navigating multiple screens and reports across separate systems. Workflow actions, including creating or failing movements and issuing margin calls, are opt-in, so each firm decides exactly what an AI assistant is permitted to do. Two Model Context Protocol servers connect any MCP-compatible AI assistant to Smart Collateral: one for operating the platform’s APIs, one read-only over the reporting database. Smartstream, the trusted data solutions provider for leading global financial institutions and enterprises, today announces two new Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers for Smart Collateral, enabling dynamic, agentic collateral operation
