Zealand Pharma – Notification of holding of treasury shares

Copenhagen, Denmark, August 24, 2026 – Zealand Pharma A/S ("the Company" or “Zealand Pharma”) (Nasdaq: ZEAL) (CVR-no. 20045078), a biotechnology company transforming the future of metabolic health, today reports its notification pursuant to Section 31 of the Danish Capital Markets Act relating to its holding of treasury shares.

As of 21 August 2026, the Company holds nominally 3,597,842 treasury shares, corresponding to 5.03% of the total share capital and 5.03% of the total voting rights in Zealand Pharma. In accordance with Section 85 of the Danish Companies Act, the Company cannot exercise any voting rights attached to its treasury shares.
