19.8.2026 15:41:01 CEST | Systematic | Press release
Herning, Denmark – Thales and Systematic today announced a strategic partnership to provide the Danish Armed Forces with advanced, interoperable air defence capabilities.

The partnership, unveiled at DALO Industry Days 2026, combines Systematic's expertise in command-and-control software with Thales' combat-proven air defence systems, enabling stronger integration and co-ordination of capabilities including SAMP/T NG and other air defence systems.
This cooperation will support key Danish defence requirements, including Air Command and Control (C2) and Surface-Based Air Missile Defence (SBAMD), helping deliver a modern and interoperable approach to air defence.
It will also strengthen local industrial capabilities in Denmark, supporting long-term
national value creation and opportunities for future export.
This alliance also reflects the growing importance of European industrial cooperation in delivering sovereign defence capabilities that can meet national and allied requirements.
"Systematic brings decades of experience delivering command-and-control software to defence forces and NATO allies around the world. This partnership is an important step to strengthen Denmark's air defence capabilities with trusted European technology, while building on the strong industrial capabilities we have developed here in Denmark."
Klaus H. Qvist, Vice President, Business Development, Systematic
"This partnership with Systematic reflects Thales' long-term commitment to Denmark. By combining proven solutions with strong local cooperation, we are reinforcing our footprint in the country and contributing to defence capabilities generating value for the Danish industry."
Martin Soegaard, Country Director Denmark, Ireland, Iceland & Baltics, Thales
"Our collaboration with Systematic ensures that Denmark benefits from a sovereign, interoperable system that leverages the best of European innovation. This agreement is a testament to Thales' ability to align strategic programmes like SBAMD with local industrial strengths, creating a model for future defence cooperation."
Raphaël Desi, Integrated Airspace Protection Systems, Thales
Together, Thales and Systematic will support the Danish Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) in achieving an integrated air defence capability, combining their respective expertise to support Denmark's defence priorities and strengthen its ability to operate alongside NATO allies.
