Light Sculpture - Flow
The inside and outside of an ocean vortex are composed of the same water; there is no material difference between them. Yet, despite this, why do we perceive a vortex as a singular entity, or even sense a form of life within it?
The difference between the inside and outside of a vortex lies in the order, not the material. When order is born within a flow, existence emerges even without material difference or a material surface boundary.
In Light Sculpture - Flow, a sculpture is created when a continuous stream of light rays forms an order within the space.
The sculpture here differs from that of a physical object. It is created not by a material surface boundary, but by flow and order, continuously changing dynamically while being influenced by the presence and behavior of people. It is a spatial existence with an ambiguous boundary between the artwork and the body.
Light Sculpture - Flow is an attempt to expand sculpture from a fixed physical object into a spatial existence without a material surface boundary that is created by flow and order.

Elliptic is publishing eight principles for governing agentic on-chain risk: the Elliptic Standard Elliptic, the global leader in on-chain risk, today published the Elliptic Standard: eight principles for governing agentic on-chain risk. Elliptic has been at the intersection of financial crime and on-chain finance since 2013, long enough to recognize the shift to agentic transactions as a defining inflection point in financial crime risk, and to be the first to define what governing it demands. On-chain finance is now running at agentic speed. Machines are originating, authorizing and settling transactions at a volume no human team can review. Illicit actors are using AI to evade detection at a speed and volume that manual processes cannot track. Models built around human review were never designed for this world. They are already overwhelmed. Three forces are driving this shift. First, autonomous agents are increasingly the counterparty on both sides of a transaction, not just people i
