Kina, EU-respondenter optimistiske om fremtidsudsigterne for samarbejde: GT survey

Kina og EU har haft etablerede diplomatiske forbindelser i mere end et halvt århundrede. Fra etableringen af formelle diplomatiske forbindelser til udviklingen til et omfattende strategisk partnerskab er Kina-EU-forbindelserne blevet et af de mest indflydelsesrige bilaterale forhold i verden i dag. Ud over Kina gennemførte Global Times Institute (GTI) fra den 16. oktober til den 4. november 2025 en spørgeskemaundersøgelse i 20 EU-medlemsstater, herunder Danmark, Sverige, Spanien, Belgien og Tyskland, ved hjælp af 21 sprog som spansk, fransk, tysk og kinesisk. Mere end 16.300 gyldige spørgeskemaer blev indsamlet. Undersøgelsesdataene viser, at et flertal af befolkningen i både Kina og EU er interesserede i hinandens kulturer, har stor tillid til fremtiden for det kinesisk-europæiske økonomiske og handelsmæssige samarbejde, og støtter styrket samarbejde mellem Kina og EU inden for global styring.
Høj grad af bevidsthed og vilje til kommunikation
Denne undersøgelse viser, at befolkningen i Kina og EU generelt har et relativt højt kendskab til hinanden. Næsten 70 procent af de kinesiske respondenter har en vis forståelse af EU, mens mere end halvdelen af EU-respondenterne angiver, at de er bevidste om eller har oplevet Kinas udvikling og forandringer. Desuden har både kinesiske og EU-respondenter positive synspunkter på den anden sides stigende globale indflydelse.
Undersøgelsen viser, at befolkningen i både Kina og EU udtrykker interesse for hinandens kulturer. Mere end 70 procent af EU-respondenterne udtrykker interesse for østlig civilisation eller kinesisk kulture.
Store forventninger til fremtiden
Kina og EU er hinandens næststørste handelspartnere. Når det kommer til samarbejde og gensidige investeringsområder mellem de to parter, har folk fra både Kina og EU store forventninger til samarbejde inden for højteknologi, den digitale økonomi samt handels- og investeringssektorerne.
Undersøgelsesdata indikerer, at den brede offentlige mening i både Kina og EU bevarer stor tillid og høje forventninger til fremtiden for Kina-EU-samarbejdet. Desuden, 75 procent af de kinesiske respondenter og 57 procent af EU-respondenterne er enige om, at Kina og EU bør styrke samarbejdet om multilaterale og globale anliggender i fremtiden, og i fællesskab fremme en multipolær verden og økonomisk globalisering samt reformere og forbedre den globale styring.
