3E, the leading global provider of expert-led AI compliance solutions for chemical and workplace safety, product stewardship, and sustainable supply chains, today announced its acquisition of Yordas Group, a leading international provider of scientific consulting and regulatory content services across chemical management, product stewardship, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.

Headquartered in Lancaster, UK, with operations in Germany, Canada, Türkiye, and Japan, Yordas serves global brands through its Scientific Services, Regulatory Intelligence, Product Compliance, and Hazard Communication offerings.

Solidifying 3E’s Global Regulatory Content Leadership and Breadth of Expertise

The acquisition extends 3E's regulatory content leadership and joins two organizations that pride themselves on building and aligning the industry’s top talent of advanced regulatory and chemical experts. It further solidifies 3E as the product compliance solution provider with the industry's broadest global product compliance regulatory content coverage, the deepest regulatory and scientific expertise, and the most advanced AI-led innovation.

Expanding Product Compliance Capabilities, Market Reach, and Customer Value

The acquisition adds new capabilities to 3E’s product compliance solution set, including REACH registration services. With the addition of Yordas, 3E will now be able to provide end-to-end chemical registration services, helping manufacturers and importers meet their obligations under EU REACH, UK REACH, and other global regimes including Korea REACH, Türkiye KKDIK, China REACH/MEE Order No. 12, Ukraine REACH, and Taiwan TCCSCA.

Drawing on more than a decade of experience and in-house scientific and technical experts, Yordas supports every stage of the registration process—from strategy and route selection to full dossier development, data sharing, and liaison with regulatory authorities such as ECHA. Managing REACH registrations for over 100 multinational companies, Yordas secures market access and long-term supply-chain compliance, all delivered under ISO 9001, 27001, and 14001 certified management systems.

Yordas also extends 3E's expertise and reach into discrete industries such as cosmetics, automotive, and polymers, and further strengthens 3E’s global regulatory coverage in its core industries, including chemicals and manufacturing.

Advancing a Shared Vision

"We have always admired and respected the Yordas team. This highly complementary acquisition advances 3E’s vision to be the most trusted partner our customers can rely on as they navigate an increasingly complex and global regulatory landscape," said Greg Gartland, Chief Executive Officer of 3E. "With this combination, 3E will have the private sector’s single largest group of chemical regulatory experts. Yordas's scientific depth and trusted expertise strengthen the foundation we are building for the future—one where expertly curated regulatory content and intelligence power trusted AI solutions to create speed, scale and unprecedented visibility and problem solving for product compliance."

"For nearly two decades, Yordas has built a reputation for scientific rigor and trusted regulatory expertise, and joining 3E is the natural next step in that journey," said Jonathan Lutwyche, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Yordas Group. "3E shares our commitment to helping customers navigate an increasingly complex regulatory landscape, and its AI-led platform gives our science and content the scale to reach more businesses worldwide."

Continuing 3E’s Active and Strategically Focused Acquisition Strategy

The transaction continues 3E's active acquisition strategy following the acquisitions of Toxnot, ChemChain, Chemycal, and Quick-FDS since its 2022 separation from Verisk.
