Carsten Fensholt steps down as CEO of Aeven Group

Aeven Group announces today that Carsten Fensholt has stepped down from his position as CEO effective May 20, 2026, by mutual agreement with the Board of Directors.
Chairman of the Board Rasmus Helmich will assume the role of Interim CEO with immediate effect. He will serve in this capacity until the Board has appointed a permanent successor.
"We are naturally disappointed that our collaboration with Carsten did not develop as expected. At the same time, Aeven Group stands on a strong foundation with solid customer relationships, highly skilled employees, and a clear strategic direction anchored in the Board and the executive leadership team. We have the organization and capabilities to execute, and I am confident that we will emerge stronger from this transition period," says Rasmus Helmich, Chairman of the Board and Interim CEO.
The day-to-day operations of Aeven and Sentia will continue unchanged under the leadership of an experienced management team. The company's strategy, priorities, and business commitments to customers, partners, and other stakeholders remain in place as planned.
