WSA delivered 1% organic growth and continued improved profitability in the second quarter of FY 2025/26

Lynge, Denmark – May 12, 2026 – WSA, a leading pure-play hearing healthcare group, today announced results for the second quarter of the financial year 2025/26 (January 1, 2026 – March 31, 2026) showing 1% organic revenue growth and an EBITDA margin improvement of 1.1%-point in line with expectations. The outlook for FY 2025/26 is maintained.

Our organic revenue growth in the second quarter was in line with expectations, and we are continuously improving our profitability. It is encouraging that we are continuing to experience solid momentum in our Online and Retail channels, as well as strong performance in Managed Care. Today, we are launching the Signia Active Mini IX, the world's smallest ready-to-wear hearing aid with the full power of the IX platform. We look forward to launching more breakthrough innovations on our Widex and Signia platforms soon.

Highlights Q2 FY 2025/26 (Q2 last financial year in brackets)

  • WSA Group delivered organic revenue growth of +1% (+1%) to EUR 628 million. Group reported revenue declined -6% mainly due to currency headwinds.
  • The wholesale business delivered organic growth of -6%, impacted by the timing of WSA’s product launches.  
  • The consumer-facing business delivered +9% organic growth driven by strong performance in Online and Managed Care and solid performance in Retail.
  • Revenue growth was mixed across geographies with +4% organic growth in Americas,  -3% organic growth in EMEA, and 0% organic growth in APAC.
  • EBITDA before special items was EUR 117 million (EUR 117 million). EBITDA margin before special items increased to +18.6%, an improvement of +1.1%-points compared with last year. The improvement was driven by continued operational efficiency improvements and cost reductions made in FY 2024/25.
  • Today, WSA launched Signia Mini IX the world’s smallest ready to wear ITE hearing aid with connectivity and the full power of the IX platform in a discreet, rechargeable design. WSA will launch additional significant innovations on the Widex and Signia platforms soon.
  • WSA has announced Sound Preference – a significant advance in understanding personalized hearing care. Research conducted by WSA shows that up to 40% of listeners demonstrate a strong and consistent preference for one sound processing philosophy over another. Learn more at soundpreference.com

Highlights 1H 2025/2026 (1H last financial year in brackets)

  • In the first six months of FY 2025/26 WSA delivered organic revenue growth of 0% (+3%) to EUR 1,257 million. Group reported revenue declined -6% due to currency headwinds.
  • EBITDA before special items declined by EUR -3 million to EUR 228 million with a margin improvement of 0.8%-points. The improvement was driven by continued operational efficiency improvements and cost reductions made in FY 2024/25.
  • Outlook for FY 2025/26 is maintained. WSA expects 0 to 4% organic revenue growth supported by our competitive product portfolio and upcoming launches. The range reflects the uncertain macroeconomic environment.
  • The EBITDA margin before special items is expected to increase by around 1%-point versus financial year 2024/25, supported by cost reductions made in FY 2024/25, efficiency gains, and growth.
