Aeven expands its operations in Europe with a new office in Hungary
23.10.2024 00:00:00 CEST | Aeven A/S | Press release
From November onwards, the digital infrastructure company Aeven expands its operations with a new entity in Budapest, Hungary. The ambition is to enhance its nearshore delivery while supporting the company's growth in the digital infrastructure space with new talent.

With a current presence in Denmark, the Czech Republic, and the Philippines, Aeven will expand its business with a new entity in Hungary. Opening its doors in November, the new office aims to strengthen Aeven's nearshore delivery setup and enhance support for organizations and institutions critical to Danish society.
Increasing demand for nearshore delivery centers
Aeven's increased focus on nearshore will provide flexibility in scaling their operations and enable quicker response times for customer support with attention to regulatory compliance.
Henrik Bodskov, Chief Executive Officer in Aeven, says:
"As we are seeing an increased demand for nearshore delivery centers in Europe, it makes perfect sense to establish an entity in Hungary to strengthen our presence and ensure that we maintain the stable operation of critical infrastructure while we grow as a company. Supplementing our offshore delivery in the Philippines and nearshore operations in Czech Republic and Denmark, our colleagues in Hungary will be an invaluable part of expanding our reach and presence in the digital infrastructure market."
Tapping into the local talent pool
With the establishment of the Hungarian branch, the hiring processes to tap into the local talent pool has begun. Lasse Schmidt, Managing Director of Aeven Czech Republic and Hungary says:
"We are very much looking forward to opening a new office in Budapest. Not only will we improve our nearshore delivery setup for our customers, but Hungary also has fantastic local talent that can add value to our current team. Our teams in Hungary and the Czech Republic will work closely together to enhance our service delivery, and I am very excited to meet new colleagues and get this new adventure started."
Martin Szilagyi, Associate Vice President of Aeven Cybersecurity, Network & End-user Services in Czech Republic, is a leading force in the process of establishing the new office and is inserted as interim General Manager of Aeven Hungary.
