Aeven enters into an agreement to acquire Sentia

As part of the acquisition, Sentia's Danish operations, solutions portfolio, client relations and 200 employees will become part of Aeven. This will enable Aeven to expand its offering and its customer base, to provide solutions for Danish small and mid-sized companies, as well as to strengthen its existing capabilities. Sentia's client-centric and tech-driven approach provides a complementary fit to Aeven's operations.

As part of Aeven, Sentia will continue to operate as a standalone business and will continue to be managed by its current leadership team, supported by the newly established Board of Directors comprising members of Aeven and Agilitas Private Equity LLP ("Agilitas"), the backer of Aeven.

Since Agilitas, the pan-European mid-market private equity firm, backed the buyout of Aeven in April 2023, the company has focussed on driving its transformation strategy whilst continuing to manage day-to-day operations, accelerate business development and capitalise on relevant opportunities.

Terms of the acquisition will not be disclosed, and the transaction is subject to approval from the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority. The acquisition is expected to be completed upon authority approval in Q1 2024.
