High international attendance, renewed energy, and a modern interpretation of the trade fair format.

Copenhagen, February 2026 – Copenhagen International Fashion Fair, CIFF 66, has concluded after three highly successful days, reaffirming its position as a leading international fashion platform and demonstrating resilience and relevance in a challenging global market.
Despite ongoing market uncertainty, CIFF 66 maintained a high level of international and qualitative traffic comparable to last year, marking one of the fair’s strongest seasons to date. Overall attendance saw only a minor decline of just under 3 percent year-on-year, while several strategic markets recorded significant growth, underscoring the impact of CIFF’s long-term international focus.
This season saw strong increases in visitors from the Netherlands at plus 10 percent and Italy at an impressive plus 34 percent, driven in part by CIFF’s strategic collaboration with CBI (Camera Buyer Italia). Additional growth was recorded from key markets including Germany, Belgium at plus 18 percent, the UK at plus 6 percent, France at plus 2 percent, Poland at plus 16 percent, as well as continued momentum from the Middle East and Southern Europe.
For many womenswear brands, CIFF 66 marked their busiest days in decades, reflecting renewed optimism, buying confidence, and a noticeable positive energy across the fair. Exhibitors reported strong engagement, meaningful meetings, and a clear appetite for well-curated collections with strong brand identity and storytelling.
CIFF 66 also showcased CIFF’s interpretation of the modern trade fair, where inspiration, culture, and commerce coexist. Highlights included the special project in collaboration with 10 Corso Como, which brought a strong cultural and editorial layer to the fair, an expanded CPHFW NewTalent area presented with CIFF Editions, and a new and innovative integration of retail partners, further strengthening the connection between brands, buyers, and the wider fashion ecosystem.
“CIFF 66 confirmed that there is a strong need for platforms that combine business with inspiration and context,” says Sofie Dolva, Director of CIFF. “Considering the current market situation, we are very pleased to have maintained such a high level of international and qualitative traffic. At the same time, the strong growth from several key markets shows that our strategic work throughout the year is paying off. We felt a renewed energy across the fair, especially within womenswear, and that is incredibly encouraging.”
Listening closely to its community, CIFF is already looking ahead. In response to feedback from brands, buyers, and partners, CIFF will adjust its summer dates and begin earlier in the week. CIFF 67 will open its doors on Monday, August 3, marking a strategic move to better align with international travel patterns and the broader fashion week calendar.
“With CIFF 66, we have taken another step in evolving the trade fair format,” adds Sofie Dolva. “Our ambition is to continue developing CIFF as a platform that creates real value for brands and visitors, not just during the fair, but throughout the year. Starting CIFF 67 on a Monday is part of that commitment.”
CIFF 66 once again proved that relevance, strong curation, and international outlook remain key drivers for success, positioning CIFF firmly at the center of Copenhagen’s fashion ecosystem and the global fashion calendar.
