German Air Force introduces SitaWare - Visit of the Vice Chief of the Air Force at Systematic Operations
4.2.2026 08:30:00 CET | Systematic | Press release
AARHUS, DENMARK – The Vice Chief of the German Air Force visited Systematic’s headquarters in Aarhus. Lieutenant General Lutz Kohlhaus was welcomed by Systematic CEO Nikolaj Bramsen and Sven Trusch, Managing Director of Systematic’s German subsidiary.

The visit marked another milestone in the long-standing cooperation between Systematic and the Bundeswehr: With the decision to deploy SitaWare, the software will now be used across all the armed services - Army, Navy and Air Force.
During the visit, Lieutenant General Kohlhaus took the opportunity to explore best practices from other user nations and to gain insight into Systematic’s planned development roadmap for SitaWare in the Air and Space domains. The agenda also addressed how future capabilities can support Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) in coalition contexts.
The introduction of SitaWare in the German Air Force forms part of the continued development of interoperable command-and-control capabilities within the existing Bundeswehr system landscape. The objective is to enable improved, continuous information exchange within a shared common operational picture across all domains.
Within the German Armed Forces, SitaWare is implemented cross-sectionally as the Mission Enabling Service Bundeswehr (MESBw). MESBw provides a unified, multi-domain software ecosystem designed to support command and control at all levels. The individual products of the SitaWare Suite are seamlessly integrated into the existing system landscape.
“This visit highlights the trust-based cooperation with the Bundeswehr and our shared commitment to the digitisation and modernisation of Germany’s Armed Forces. It was an honour to welcome Lieutenant General Kohlhaus and to discuss how SitaWare can support the German Air Force through a multi-domain approach.”
– Sven Trusch, Managing Director of Systematic’s German subsidiary
