Columbus has been selected by Microsoft as one of the first 30 partners worldwide to receive the new Support Services designation. This recognition is currently available only to a limited group of partners and will not be broadly accessible until next year. Being included in this initial group highlights Columbus’ strong capabilities in delivering high-quality support and operational excellence across the Microsoft ecosystem.
During the Microsoft Ignite event, Columbus was presented in the official Solution Support announcement.
“Columbus has consistently demonstrated the ability to support customers with high-quality operations and measurable business outcomes," says Maja Løve Dybdahl, Sr. Director, AI Business Process, EMEA Corporate at Microsoft. By awarding them the Support Services designation early, we recognise their strong commitment to operational excellence and their capability to help organisations succeed across the Microsoft cloud."
The Support Services designation acts as a professional seal of approval, much like an ISO certification, but specialised for support quality within the Microsoft ecosystem. By undergoing rigorous audits, partners demonstrate not just that they offer support, but that their processes, staff, and customer satisfaction metrics are demonstrably world-class, thereby gaining unique access to high-priority resources and exclusive financial rewards.
The new designation strengthens one of Columbus’s core commitments: acting as a long-term partner that helps customers realise value from technology while ensuring that innovation is anchored in stable, reliable operations. Their approach is built on a simple principle: innovation is most successful when operations are stable.
"Being selected as one of the first partners globally to receive the Support Services designation is a clear recognition of the work our teams deliver every day," says Ole Fritze, COO and Business Line Executive Dynamics 365 at Columbus. "Stable operations form the foundation for real innovation, and this designation reinforces our position as a trusted long-term partner and advisor helping customers realise tangible value from their technology investments."
Receiving this designation confirms that Columbus is among the leading Microsoft partners globally when it comes to operational excellence, proactive support, and turning technology investments into real business value.
