Through this collaboration, Spirii will enhance the charging experience, increase charger utilisation, and reduce operational costs.

Copenhagen, Denmark – After years of rapid infrastructure rollout, the EV charging industry is entering a new phase - shifting focus from network expansion to optimising the performance, uptime, and reliability of existing charging networks.
To accelerate this shift, Spirii, a leading provider of EV charging platform solutions, has partnered with AI-startup Lumina to develop and integrate the intelligent maintenance platform ‘Charger Health’.
Built on more than 3 billion data logs from thousands of chargers connected to Spirii’s charge point management platform, Charger Health leverages predictive machine learning to detect, resolve, and prevent charger issues before they occur - ensuring seamless charging experiences for EV drivers.
Unlike traditional monitoring tools that only respond after a failed session or customer complaint, Charger Health’s custom AI models continuously monitor the chargers for both visible and hidden issues, including declining performance, low utilisation, and connectivity problems.
As a result, CPOs using Spiriis platform will have real-time visibility into chargers at risk and receives automated, targeted recommendations tailored to each charger’s unique configuration, usage patterns, and location - often making it possible to resolve issues remotely without on-site intervention, which can be expensive and time consuming.
Tore Harritshøj, CEO and co-founder of Spirii states:
“With Charger Health, we’re enhancing our proactive maintenance model, giving CPOs using our platform the ability to predict failures, resolve many of them remotely, and keep chargers operational at peak performance. This drives higher reliability, a better end-user experience, and improved charger utilisation - critical for growing a profitable, competitive charging business. We're proud to have collaborated with Lumina on the development of Charger Health and are excited to scale this innovative technology across our markets."
Charger Health is one of the first platforms to embed real-time AI agents and predictive machine learning directly into daily charging operations, enabling the detection and identification of network issues with high-precision accuracy to ensure uninterrupted service for drivers.
Mikkel Weikop, co-founding partner at Lumina, adds:
“Charger Health accurately detects and forecasts faults, helping operators improve reliability and deliver a more consistent charging experience for EV drivers. Without intelligence built into your OCPP machine, every problem remains a black box. Charger Health identifies what the problem is and why it occurs, so it can be detected and solved intelligently before the customer encounters it.”
Charger Health will be fully integrated into Spirii’s platform and available to all CPOs using the platform.
