Maroon 5 to play Tinderbox 2023

The American pop band is the first headliner to be revealed from the lineup for next year’s festival and will play on Friday June 23^rd.

While the temperatures are dropping outside, the expectations for next year’s music festivals are getting higher and today, the Danish festival Tinderbox has revealed one of the big international acts that thousands of guests can look forward to seeing on stage next summer.

The American pop band Maroon 5 has been announced as the first headliner for the seventh edition of Tinderbox which will take place from the 22^nd to 24^th of June in Odense.

The list of hits that Maroon 5 has created during their long and impressive career is, to say the least, long. Few modern bands have had the same kind of success that Maroon 5 has with no less than 32 Billboard Hot 100 songs under their belt.

It all started back in 2002 with the release of the groundbreaking album Songs About Jane that included massive hits such as “This Love”, “She Will Be Loved” and “Sunday Morning”. Since then, their seven-record catalogue has offered additional hits like “Makes Me Wonder”, “Misery”, “Sugar”, “Moves Like Jagger” with Christina Aguilera and numerous other notable collaborations with artists like Cardi B, Kendrick Lamar, Nipsey Hussle, SZA, Juice WRLD, Future and A$AP Rocky.

The show at Tinderbox is part of the group’s 2023 EU and UK tour which follows the release of their current studio album Jordi, featuring the Megan Thee Stallion-collaboration “Beautiful Mistakes” as well as recent hits “Nobody’s Love” and “Memories” which has surpassed an impressive 1 Billion streams on Spotify.

With the reveal of Maroon 5, the festival has kicked off the announcements for next year’s festival which will, once again, bring big international stars to the city of Odense, celebrate the vibrant Danish music scene, and gather EDM-fans around the iconic Magicbox stage.

24-hour presale starts Wednesday November 16th at 10am

For the many fans who’re already sure that they want to join the party in Odense next summer, an exclusive presale with a limited number of full-festival-tickets will start tomorrow November 16^th at 10 am through Tinderbox’ newsletter and run for 24 hours at a reduced price of 2.095 DKK. The official ticket sale starts on December 1^st at 10am. All tickets can be purchased at tinderbox.dk.

Last year, Tinderbox broke records when a daily number of 48.000 people visited the festival again after two years of cancellations.
