From concept to market: Pison and partners launch wearable neurosensor within months

Historically, Pison Technology have provided technologies to the Department of Defense for monitoring physical and cognitive conditions and controlling gestures through wrist-worn devices. When Cristiano Cairo, Pison Technology's CCO, joined the company, he recognized the potential to adapt this technology for the consumer market.

To achieve this vision, Pison developed a crucial partnership with Cre8tek and Dream Devices.

While Cre8tek was brought on to handle mechanical design, prototyping, and manufacturing, ensuring the seamless integration of all mechanical components, Dream Devices was tasked with overseeing software design and managing the electronic architecture.

Cristiano Cairo states that the partners' company size was particularly instrumental in meeting their development deadlines

“Both Cre8tek and Dream Devices are a unique size of company because as you usually have two options: you can go to small companies that lack the necessary competencies, or you can go to much larger companies that possess these competencies but don’t move as fast.”

Cristiano Cairo further describes the impact this had on their operations:

“They enabled us to go from a design on a piece of paper and a list of components and requirements in September to an advanced prototype almost final product already by January, February. So we really moved fast,” Cristiano recounts, highlighting the rapid development timeline, which surpassed typical industry expectations.
