Columbus wins Optimizely’s ‘Commerce Partner of the Year’ award for the second year running
Columbus, the global digital consultancy, has been awarded Optimizely’s 2024 ‘Commerce Partner of the Year’ in the United Kingdom & Ireland (UK&I) region. This sparks a second-time-in-a-row recognition, since Columbus also won the award in 2023. The aim of Optimizely's prestigious prize is to acknowledge IT companies’ focus on innovation, partnership devotion, and digitalisation possibilities.

Erling Schjetne, Business Line Executive for Columbus' global digital commerce business line, says:
“Receiving this honourable prize for the second year round is a testament to our team's full dedication and expertise in digital commerce. It underscores the value we bring through our experience and strategic insights. Not only does it strengthen our position in the UK&I market but it also highlights the impact of our recent acquisition of Endless Gain, making us an even more attractive partner for Optimizely clients.”
Only top collaborative partners get awarded
The award as Optimizely’s ‘Commerce Partner of the Year’ is given to Optimizely’s top collaborative partners and those who have excelled the most at increasing and improving sustainable digitalisation in the UK&I region the past year. It works as an indicator, showing which companies are the front runners – and works as an important signal for customers.
As a global leader in business transformation and a key driver of digital innovation for some of the world’s biggest brands, Columbus is immensely committed to its investment in the Optimizely platform and has built a highly experienced team of certified Optimizely consultants.
It was during this year’s Optimizely partner event that Columbus received the prestigious prize:
“The award reflects the hard work behind our success and reinforces our credibility as both a company and a trusted partner for our e-commerce clients. It showcases our deep expertise in the Optimizely platform and proves that we have the right team to manage complex projects while consistently delivering excellence”, said James Moses, Business Line Market Unit Director for Digital Commerce, Columbus UK.
"We didn't rest on our laurels after last year's success"
Columbus has built a strong reputation in the UK e-commerce market by continuously improving its sales processes, collaboration, and service delivery. Known as a full-service consultancy with deep industry knowledge in e-commerce, it also excels in Cloud ERP, data & analytics, customer experience, application management, cybersecurity, and change management.
“We didn’t rest on our laurels after last year’s success, and we have continued to work hard and deliver more exceptional projects in 2024. Back-to-back 'Commerce partner of the Year' certainly has a good ring to it and we are delighted to continue our close collaboration with Optimizely. This is a partnership that grows stronger every year and we are looking forward to a successful 2025 already”, James Moses concludes.
