The fifth edition of Enter Art Fair opens its doors to the Scandinavia’s largest art exhibition in the former locomotive workshop of the Danish national railways, ‘Lokomotivværkstedet’, in central Copenhagen on 29 August. This time with Danish and international art from 96 galleries from 46 cities in 20 different countries around the world.

Among the exhibitors is the Copenhagen gallery 'Weinberger Schandorff', which shows art by the debuting Danish artist Rasmus Refer, as well as Hans E. Madsen and Katrine Bremermann.

Rasmus Refer's most remarkable work for this year's edition of Enter Art Fair is undoubtedly his 450 kilos ‘See-Saw sculpture', created in black Duvhult granite. A work - priced at DKK 375,000 - which, with minimal contact with the floor, seemingly floats in space.

Duvhult granite is one of the world's most finely grained black rock types - and therefore particularly exclusive.

In addition, five of Rasmus Refer's beautiful sculptures in shiny steel have been chosen as part of Enter Art Fair 2024's sculpture park in the area outside the exhibition venue ‘Lokomotivværkstedet’.

Galleri Weinberger Schandorff is also represented at this year's Enter Art Fair with two other artists, namely Hans E. Madsen and German Katrine Bremermann.

Through his many years of artistic work, Hans E. Madsen has distinguished himself with his site-specific total art installations in public spaces. With light as his primary medium, Hans E. Madsen creates works in characteristic expressive color combinations and visible constructions that relate specifically to the space in question and invite his audience to interact. He is a graduate of the Art Academy of Ljubljana (1981) and Aarhus Art Academy (1982) and has exhibited both at home and abroad. And now his works can be seen at Enter Fair 2024 too.

German artist Katrin Bremermann combines primary abstraction with spontaneous expression to create two-dimensional paintings. In recent years, she has increasingly moved her art to the "shaped canvas", where the painting deviates from its normal, flat, rectangular shape. Bremermann's practice embodies a profound exploration of geometric abstraction in an ever-renewing conversation with himself.
