Data on how climate change affects education and gender equality in developing countries: two new desk studies
The two desk studies map and analyse the state of evidence on the link between climate change and education and gender equality and sexual and reproductive health respectively, and identify areas particularly relevant for future work and support. The studies have been undertaken in light of the increasing speed of research and global policy dialogue on these interlinkages.
The studies, “The intersection between climate change and education - Mapping and analysis of the evidence base” and “The intersections between climate change and gender equality and sexual and reproductive health and rights - Mapping and analysis of the evidence base” were commissioned by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the fall of 2023 and have been produced by Nordic Consulting Group A/S (NCG).
