Viggo Announces Strategic Partnership with TDC NET to Expand Ultra-Fast Charging Network
Danish tech and mobility company Viggo is now announcing a new partnership with TDC NET, Denmark’s leading telecommunications company, to establish a range of ultra-fast charging stations. This collaboration marks a milestone in Viggo’s ambitious expansion of its ultra-fast charging business.

Recently, Viggo announced its bold growth ambitions for its charging network, including plans to expand into three new countries in the near future. However, Viggo’s growth strategy also includes significant domestic expansion - plans that are now catalysed by TD NET’s extensive network of locations in Denmark - at the benefit of all electric vehicle drivers across the nation.
"With more than 5,000 locations, TDC is one of the largest property owners in Denmark," said Kenneth Herschel, CEO of Viggo. "Partnering with such a major player is a strategic move for our business at this crucial time in our efforts of expanding our coverage in Denmark."
The initial phase of the partnership will see the establishment of three new ultra-fast charging stations, each strategically located in urban areas in Greater Copenhagen. These locations have been carefully selected to meet the increasing demand for fast charging, particularly as more Danes make the switch to electric vehicles.
For TDC NET, the partnership marks an important step in a more sustainable direction:
"We have set an ambitious goal to become CO2-neutral in all of our value chains by 2030” says Steen Møller, CFO at TDC NET. “This requires a consistent strategic focus on all the possible areas where we can move in a more sustainable direction. Our partnership with Viggo opens up the possibilities for using our locations for the benefit of EV drivers in our areas. Three charging stations is just the beginning, but naturally we hope to expand to more of our 5.000 locations across Denmark.”
Viggo and TDC plan to have the first three ultra-fast charging stations operational within the next 12 months.
