MILAN, ITALY / ACCESSWIRE / May 31, 2024 / Heute fand unter der Leitung von Guido Bortoni, der in seiner Rolle als Vorsitzender bestätigt wurde, die erste Sitzung des neuen Verwaltungsrats der CESI S.p.A. statt. Der Verwaltungsrat wurde am 29. Mai von der ordentlichen Hauptversammlung der Aktionäre erneuert.

Während der Sitzung wurde Nicola Melchiotti zum neuen Chief Executive Officer (CEO) des Konzerns für die Amtszeit 2024 - 2026 ernannt.
Am 1. Juni wird Melchiotti auch die Rolle des General Managers übernehmen. Er folgt auf Domenico Villani, der als Executive Vice President für die TIC/KEMA Labs-Division und Group Sustainability Affairs des Konzerns im Unternehmen verbleibt.
Nicola Melchiotti kommt zu CESI nach einer langen Karriere bei Enel, wo er verschiedene internationale Positionen innehatte, darunter Head of Global Customer Operations, Country Manager Argentinien, Head of European Public Affairs and Regulation in Brüssel sowie Area Manager für Mexiko und Mittelamerika. Sein beruflicher Werdegang umfasste auch strategische Beratung bei McKinsey & Company. Melchiotti hat einen Ingenieursabschluss in Informatik am Politecnico di Milano, einen Master in Ingenieurwesen der CentraleSupélec in Paris und einen MBA der Harvard Business School.
