Sisse Fjelsted Rasmussen joining the Hempel Foundation Board of Trustees

Hempel Foundation is pleased to announce that Sisse Fjelsted Rasmussen will join the Board of Trustees at the Hempel Foundation as of 2 May 2024.

Sisse Fjelsted Rasmussen possesses solid qualifications and a deep understanding of both financial and corporate strategies, which are a strong asset for the continuous development of the ownership of Hempel Group.

Sisse Fjelsted Rasmussen has extensive experience from various leading board roles and key positions in major Danish companies with international presence. Her roles include positions as CFO in STARK Group, where she will end September 2024, and board memberships at companies such as Demant A/S and Conscia A/S, highlighting her financial background and business acumen. She holds an MSc in Business Economics and Auditing from Copenhagen Business School and is also a certified State Authorized Public Accountant.

Expressing her enthusiasm for the role, Sisse Fjelsted Rasmussen says, "I am thrilled to accept the nomination for the Board of Trustees at the Hempel Foundation. I am looking forward to contributing with my experience to further the overall purpose and strategy, and I am particularly excited about engaging in our philanthropic activities, focusing on biodiversity and fighting learning poverty."

Sisse Fjelsted Rasmussen will replace Britt Meelby Jensen in the Hempel Foundations Board of Trustees. Britt Meelby Jensen has served on the board since 2018 and will be put forward for election as member of the Board of Directors of Hempel A/S at the Annual General Meeting of Hempel A/S on 2 May 2024.
