BLAST and Copenhagen Gaming Week Announce Detailed Schedule for Anticipated Counter-Strike 2 Tournament

BLAST and Copenhagen Gaming Week’s new Counter-Strike 2 tournament gives grassroot esports teams from Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Germany the chance to meet top teams, Astralis and Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP), at Copenhagen Gaming Week in January 2024. The full tournament program and dates have now been revealed.

The full tournament plan for the upcoming Counter-Strike 2 tournament, co-hosted by BLAST and Copenhagen Gaming Week, has been revealed. By giving rising talents a chance to compete against the pros, this innovative tournament format offers a unique chance to win an all-inclusive Copenhagen experience which has never been seen before on the Nordic esports scene.

The tournament will unfold in three exciting rounds:

Road to Copenhagen - January 3^rd - 4^th, 2024 - Online: The journey commences with four online qualifiers, where aspiring teams from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Germany during six rounds will face each other in the virtual arena on the road to Copenhagen. This phase will be a true test of their tactical prowess and teamwork as they strive to secure a spot among the four teams moving on to the Copenhagen Showdown.

Copenhagen Showdown - January 11, 2024 – Copenhagen: The intensity escalates as the tournament moves to Copenhagen. Here, the four qualifying teams will meet and determine who will move on to the Grand Finals. Fans can follow this live broadcasted event from home.
Copenhagen Gaming Week Grand Finals - January 13^th – 14^th, 2024 – Bella Center Copenhagen and Bella Arena, Copenhagen: The entire tournament culminates in the Semi Finals and Grand Final at Bella Arena during Copenhagen Gaming Week. Here, the two qualified grassroot teams get the unique experience of facing the world-renowned top teams, Astralis and NIP, in the semifinals. We all hold our breath as we wait to find out if one of the upcoming talents will go all the way to the Grand Final, or if we will have a legendary Sweden vs. Denmark battle on Sunday Afternoon.

- Saturday, January 13^th, 2024 at 11 a.m.: Semi Finals feat. NIP
- Saturday, January 13^th, 2024 at 3 p.m.: Semi Finals feat. Astralis
- Sunday, January 14^th, 2024 at 11 a.m.: 3^rd Place
- Sunday, January 14^th, 2024 at 3 p.m.: Grand Final
