STARK Group expands its footprint in Austria

STARK Group is opening a new branch in Achau on the outskirts of Vienna, thereby fortifying its position in central Austria. It is the company’s Austrian builders’ merchant, Schilowsky, adding an additional branch to its network that now includes five out of STARK Group’s 13 branches in Austria.
With the opening, Schilowsky is strengthening its regional presence in central Austria, in line with the strategy of maintaining a focused local presence. The new branch is located on the same premises as one of STARK Group’s roofing- and facade specialist branches, Dach und Wand. In Achau, the two companies will join forces for the benefit of their customers.
The central location caters to pickup customers and offers a comprehensive advisory service. Encompassing a total area of 10,000 sqm, the branch offers an assortment tailored to meet the needs of professional tradespeople.
STARK Group made its initial entry into the Austrian market in February 2022 with the acquisition of roofing and façade specialist Dach und Wand. Subsequently, in the spring of this year, STARK Group acquired the family-owned Schilowsky Baumarkt und Baustoffhandel.
