The number of live customers using its system, and the geographic footprint and business sectors of its client base are among the factors that contributed to RDC earning this award .
RDC combines forward-looking technology with an expansive proprietary risk-relevant dataset to deliver best-in-class customer screening solutions . Organizations around the world employ RDC solutions when onboarding new customers, for their ongoing KYC and AML compliance and anti-bribery and corruption due diligence, and for assessing and managing their vendor risk.
“The ability to assess the risk status of new customers—as well as changes in the risk profile of existing clients—is a necessary foundation to the risk-based approach to AML compliance,” said Neil Katkov, Head of Risk and Compliance, Celent. “In this context, a strength of RDC’s solution is its coverage for more than 50 categories of risk ranging from money laundering, terrorism, and organized crime to assault, fraud, and human trafficking.”
“We’re honored by this recognition from Celent,” said Tom Walsh, CEO of RDC. “Our clients believe in and benefit from our groundbreaking solutions, with our shared mission of fighting financial crime each and every day. We especially appreciate this recognition of our customer-first approach, which highlights our outstanding customer service. As this award demonstrates, we are positioned firmly as a leader in the KYC space.”
Within Moody’s Analytics, RDC’s solutions are complemented by those offered by Bureau van Dijk. Bureau van Dijk’s Orbis is the world's leading entity database, with information on more than 375 million private companies and other entities. Its Compliance Catalyst platform, powered by Orbis, helps clients streamline their KYC, AML, and onboarding activities. Coupled with RDC’s GRID database of individuals and organizations that have elevated risk profiles, the combined capabilities provide a powerful solution for both verifying and screening customers.
