FilmFlex Movies has introduced PayWizard ® again as an online payment mechanism for the online film service from HMV, the UK’s leading specialist retailer of filmed entertainment games, music and portable digital technology products.
Movie fans can navigate to the hmvon-demand website, register for PayWizard and create a PayWizard account online. Then they simply select the film they want to buy, top up their PayWizard account balance and pay quickly and easily using their PayWizard’s easy-to-use e-wallet . The e-wallet holds digital versions of a consumer's credit/debit cards, the current balance, and various personal data. It also facilitates continual card authorisation for true ‘one-click purchases ’ and can handle a range of innovative subscription models .
In September, PayWizard announced that FilmFlex Movies had selected PayWizard as an online payment mechanism, resulting in the first PayWizard e-wallet deployment going live on the Film4oD website.
Thanks to the flexibility of PayWizard, content owners and end-users can benefit from a wide range of payment options and features which are available to deploy across a range of devices as the business grows, including: online, tablets, smartphones, connected TVs and IPTV set top boxes.
Greig Hilton, COO at FilmFlex Movies commented: “We are pleased to build on our partnership with PayWizard, and look forward to continuing to work with them to offer a simple, flexible and secure payment solution.”
Jamie Mackinlay, Commercial Director at PayWizard, added: "We are thrilled that hmvon-demand customers can use PayWizard to buy their digital movies. PayWizard is already an existing payment partner of FilmFlex and we are committed to helping FilmFlex and its content partners to truly drive revenues and enhance the potential of their online businesses, while at the same time delivering more choice to consumers.”

New pulp mill boosts Suzano's sales and revenue in the second quarter of 20257.8.2025 04:17:00 CEST | Press release
Suzano, the world’s largest pulp producer, announces its results for the second quarter of 2025 (2Q25), reporting sales of 3.7 million tonnes of pulp and paper. Sales increased 28% over the same period in 2024 (2Q24), mainly reflecting the strong operational contribution of the new Ribas do Rio Pardo pulp mill, whose production started in July 2024. Net revenue in the quarter totaled R$13.3 billion, a 16% increase compared to 2Q24. The expansion of pulp production capacity in Brazil, combined with the positive contribution to paper sales from the mills recently acquired in the United States and favorable FX rates, mitigated the impact on net revenue of lower pulp prices in the global market compared to 2Q24. As a result, Suzano's adjusted EBITDA reached R$6.1 billion and operating cash generation totaled R$4.1 billion. Net profit totaled R$5.0 billion positively impacted by the accounting impact of US dollar denominated debt and hedging operations translating into Brazilian Real. Beto
