Sprint Selects Gemalto for LTE Deployment in the U.S.

Gemalto (Euronext NL0000400653 GTO), the world leader in digital security, announces its selection by Sprint to provide its UpTeq LTE UICC product and the LinqUs Advanced Connectivity OTA Platform for Sprint’s fourth generation LTE broadband service launch. Leveraging Gemalto’s “Always Connected” technology, the LinqUS OTA platform will provide the life cycle management services to Gemalto’s UpTeq LTE to ensure that Sprint customers always have the most up-to-date configuration.

Gemalto’s LinqUs Advanced Connectivity OTA solution, designed for all IP 4G networks, and using Gemalto’s unique secure polling software helps ensure a 100% success rate when updating the UICC for the download and activation of network and subscriber applications.
