WESTCHESTER, Ill. -  August 5, 2011 - Corn Products International, Inc.
(NYSE:CPO) announced its intention to resume purchases under its existing share
repurchase program.  Under the program, which expires on November 30, 2015, the
Company has remaining authority to purchase up to 4,685,392 shares of the
Company's common stock.  The Company has not repurchased shares of its common
stock under the program since May, 2010.
Purchases under the program may be made in the open market or in privately
negotiated transactions from time to time at management's discretion.  The
Company will base its decisions on the amounts and timing of purchases of shares
on such factors as market conditions, the price of the Company's common stock,
and general economic conditions, as well as on management's assessment of
liquidity and cash flow requirements. The repurchase program may be suspended or
discontinued at any time.
As of July 29, 2011, Corn Products had 76,734,251 shares of common stock
outstanding.
