Bombardier is proud to build on fifteen years of Operation and Maintenance
provision at Denver International Airport with a new service contract for the
INNOVIA Automated People Mover system

BERLIN, GERMANY--(Marketwire - December 22, 2010) - Bombardier Transportation
announced today that it has signed a seven-year contract with the City and
County of Denver, Department of Aviation (CCD), to operate and maintain the
BOMBARDIER INNOVIA APM 100 automated people mover system at Denver International
Airport (DIA) in Denver, Colorado, from 2011 to 2017. The contract is valued at
approximately $101 million US (77 million euro).

The new contract follows over fifteen years of successful cooperation between
Bombardier and CCD. The INNOVIA APM 100 system is an integral part of the
airport's operations and it first opened for passenger services with
inauguration of the new airport in 1995.

Commenting on the contract award, Eran Gartner, President, Systems Division,
Bombardier Transportation, said: "Our experienced Service Delivery team provide
a dependable service and contribute to the seamless operations at the Denver
International Airport." He added: "We are looking forward to continuing our
excellent relationship with our customer, the City and County of Denver's
Department of Aviation, and our focus now is to maintain our high performance
levels and to continuously improve our service to add economic value and
contribute to environmental sustainability."

Confirming a growing trend towards longer-term collaboration between Bombardier
and the transit system asset owners, CCD has become the third organization this
year to prolong Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services with Bombardier for an
INNOVIA automated people mover system (Dallas Fort Worth International Airport
and Frankfurt Airport also extended their O&M services with Bombardier during
2010).

About the system

Bombardier has been providing O&M services at DIA since 1994. The experienced
O&M team has consistently exceeded the contract availability of 99.65%. The
original two km dual lane INNOVIA APM 100 system (formerly known as the CX-100
system) opened in 1995 with 16 vehicles. To meet growing passenger numbers the
vehicle fleet was expanded over a number of years. In 1996, Bombardier delivered
six additional vehicles, followed by a further five vehicles in 2001 and then
four more vehicles were supplied in 2007. By 2007, the vehicle fleet comprised
31 cars which are operated in four-car train consists.

The INNOVIA APM 100 system is the nerve centre of the airport. It is a 'must
ride' system between the Jeppesen Terminal (the location of ticketing, flight
check-in, baggage claim, and ground transportation) and airline gates, located
on airside concourses A, B and C. Travel time between each of DIA's four
passenger buildings is less than five minutes.

DIA has the capability of handling 653,000 flight operations and 110 million
passengers a year. It provides the gateway to Denver, Colorado, and the Rocky
Mountain West. In 2009, the airport handled 50.1 million passengers and it ranks
as the tenth busiest airport in the world. The airport features an innovative
four quadrant airfield that allows simultaneous departures and arrivals in all
weather conditions. United Airlines is DIA's largest airline which operates out
of Concourse B.
