Vice Chairman Jóhanna Lava Køtlum is appointed Chairman of the Board of BankNordik

Sverre Bjerkeli resigns from his post as Chairman and will continue to serve on the Board as board member.

Vice Chairman Jóhanna Lava Køtlum has assumed the position as Chairman of the Board. Jógvan Jespersen has been appointed Vice Chairman.

Chairman Jóhanna Lava Køtlum looks forward to continuing the strong development of BankNordik and thanks Sverre Bjerkeli on behalf of the Board for his committed effort as Chairman.

As a result of the change of Chairman, the Board committees have been reconstituted such that their composition reflects the change.

The Bank maintains the previously announced expectation regarding the extraordinary distributions of DKK 700 million (DKK 73 per share). DKK 450 million of the amount is expected to be distributed during 2021, and an extraordinary general meeting prior to the distribution is expected to be called by the end of Q3 2021. The remaining DKK 250m is expected to be distributed in 2022 and 2023.
