Topdanmarks Group Communications and IR Director Steffen Heegaard has resigned

Steffen Heegaard has decided to resign as Group Communications and IR Director at Topdanmark. Besides the responsibility for communication and IR Steffen Heegaard has had the responsibility for CSR and Topdanmark’s share custody function.

For a transitional period, Steffen Heegaard will help and continue the relationship with investors and analysts. Please address all press inquiries to either Martin Olsen or Simon Tolstrup Holmegaard and CSR-inquiries to head of CSR Pernille Fogh Christensen. 

” I have had 31 incredibly exciting years in Topdanmark. I became part of a new management team in the mid 90’ties who prepared a new strategy and restructured and refinanced the company. This strategy has since the mid 90’ties created value for Topdanmark’s customers, employees and shareholders. In the future I have decided to spend more time pursuing other commercial interests, including using my experience in value creation by investing in SME’s. Topdanmark has a strong culture and I am convinced that Topdanmark will continue its positive development, says Steffen Heegaard.

As head of IR since 1989 and as Group Communications and IR Director since 1994, Steffen has contributed to Topdanmark being one of the most value-creating insurance shares globally over the past many years.
