Major international institutional investor from France invests in Dataproces

The investment will give Dataproces the opportunity to pursue the strategy of growing in Denmark and abroad as well as explore opportunities to acquire companies.   

In accordance with the authorisation in Article 4.1.2 of the Articles of Association, the Board of Directors has resolved that Eiffel Investment Group may, through a directed share issue, purchase 2,787,313 new shares at a price of DKK 6.70 per share, thereby acquiring an ownership of 7.5 per cent of Dataproces Group A/S.  

The shares are issued without pre-emptive rights, and the price reflects the market price for the last seven trading days, which was DKK 6,672 per share.   

The increase of 2,787,313 new shares means that the total number of shares will increase from 34,319,928 to 37,107,241. The nominal share capital is increased from DKK 686,399 to DKK 742,145.  The capital increase corresponds to a dilution of 8.12 per cent, but at the same time the company will also be added significant value (increased capital, strengthened equity) for use in future growth. 

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dataproces Group A/S, H. C. Maarup, says: "I am very pleased to have a large new international investor on board and look forward to the continued work on developing the company"

CEO Michael Binderup said: "The injection of growth capital from Eiffel Investment Group puts Dataproces in a strong position for growth through acquisitions. We now have the funds to make acquisitions that can develop the business and provide access to new customers, new knowledge and new solutions. And the new capital allows us to act quickly when the opportunity for acquisitions arises."

Through this capital increase, we aim to contribute financing the growth ambitions presented by the CEO Michael Binderup and his management team and we are happy to become shareholder of Dataproces“ . 

Background:

In investor news no. 8/2025, it was announced that Dataproces would explore the possibilities for strategic partnerships and acquisitions, with the aim of being able to offer customers new and even stronger products.  

In investor news no. 13/2025, Dataproces announced that the acquisition of Boelplan had been realized, and that Dataproces thereby gained access to the German market, where Boelplan already had a number of municipalities as customers. Since then, work has been done to cultivate opportunities in the German market, and several activities have been initiated to increase the presence and marketing efforts in Germany.  

In a short time, Dataproces has achieved the goal of becoming a profitable business with the opportunity to drive organic growth with its own funds. The company has strong liquidity and thus resources for continued development of new software solutions. However, the potential in Germany in particular appears to be considerable.  

In company announcement no. 19/2025, it was announced that the ambition is to reach a turnover of DKK 200 million by 2030. The Board of Directors has therefore wished to ensure that capital is available when relevant acquisition opportunities arise.
